EPOXAL® DUETT is a two-part, high-performance epoxy adhesive specifically designed for bonding corner brackets in aluminum windows and doors.
The adhesive is plastoelastic and reversible when exposed to heat. This ensures a tight connection at an angle, despite the fact that the materials have different coefficients of thermal expansion.
EPOXAL® DUETT has been tested by ift Rosenheim, test report no. 14-002301-PR01: “Determination of the shear strength of aluminum corner connectors when new and after aging.”
EPOXAL® DUETT has also been tested by Fraunhofer IFAM, report A420298: “E-modulus, coefficient of linear expansion, elongation at break.”
